Privacy Policy

Who we are

CozyEdit is an independent editorial website that publishes shopping guides and recommendations. For privacy questions, contact us at contact@getcozyedit.com.

What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect payment details. All purchases happen on Amazon.com, which has its own privacy policy (see the Amazon Privacy Notice).

If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to reply to you, and we keep messages only as long as needed to answer. You can ask us to show you or delete a message you sent by writing to contact@getcozyedit.com.

Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to deliver and secure the site. Its own privacy policy explains how it handles that data.

Cookies and analytics

We do not currently use website analytics tools or advertising pixels, and this site does not set its own cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

When you click an affiliate link, Amazon may place cookies on your device so that referrals can be tracked. We do not control those cookies. Amazon explains how it uses them in its Privacy Notice.

You can refuse or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, use private browsing or your browser's tracking protection, or install a tracker-blocking extension. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading this site. If you do, Amazon may not be able to credit us for a referral, and this has no effect on the price you pay.

Services that load when you visit

To display our pages, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com), styling code from the Tailwind CSS content delivery network (cdn.tailwindcss.com) and some photos from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com). When your browser requests these files, those providers receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Google states that Google Fonts requests do not set cookies. We do not control how these providers handle this data; see the Google Privacy Policy and the Unsplash Privacy Policy.

Third-party links

This site links to Amazon.com. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

Data retention

We keep email enquiries only for as long as necessary to respond to them and to handle any related follow-up. Technical logs kept by our hosting provider are retained according to its own practices.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information processed about you, such as the right to access, correct, delete or restrict certain processing. To make a request or ask a privacy question, contact us at contact@getcozyedit.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. Because this site has no user accounts, we may need enough information from you to verify your request.

Children

CozyEdit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will address it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
